In a bold segment of the Breaking Battlegrounds podcast, Congressman Andy Biggs, who represents Arizona’s 5th Congressional District, laid out an unfiltered case for accountability in the long-running fallout from the discredited Russia collusion narrative.

Opening with the question on many Americans’ minds—will we finally see charges?—Biggs didn’t hold back. He argued that Hillary Clinton and her team deliberately manufactured the Russia hoax to distract from her own mishandling of classified information through a private email server.

According to Biggs, now-uncovered internal communications point to a clear plan: Clinton’s camp would allege collusion between Donald Trump and Russia in order to deflect from her own legal liability.

“It’s pretty darn clear that Hillary and a couple of people on her team came up with this plan,” Biggs said. “And it’s also pretty clear that people like Brennan, Clapper, and Comey knew about it.”

He continued, naming top intelligence officials—John Brennan, James Clapper, and James Comey, along with FBI figures like Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, and Lisa Page—as part of a broader network that allowed the hoax to thrive.

Biggs was direct: “Somebody’s got to go to jail.” While he believes prosecuting President Obama is unlikely—“then you have a civil war,” he said—he sees Hillary Clinton and either Brennan or Clapper as the most likely (and deserving) to face legal consequences.

“Hillary and Bill are the artful Dodgers,” he said. “They’ve dodged punishment for decades of criminal conduct.”

Why Prosecution Matters

Biggs emphasized that this isn’t just about retribution—it’s about restoring faith in the rule of law. He outlined three reasons why prosecutions are essential:

  • Specific deterrence to stop those directly involved from doing it again

  • General deterrence to prevent future abuses of power

  • Community restoration, so Americans feel the justice system still works

“If nobody is prosecuted, then we’re telling the country this can happen again,” he warned.

Biggs also cited the long-term fallout of the hoax: two Trump impeachments, relentless investigations, rioting in the streets, and a media firestorm fueled by bad actors. And perhaps most damaging, he noted, was how the narrative weakened Trump’s ability to govern and deal with global threats.

Still, Biggs ended with a note of respect for the former president: “Fortunately, there’s nobody stronger willed or minded than Donald Trump.”

**Chuck Warren: **But I first want to start with this question. The whole Hillary thing now with the Russian hoax. Do you think we're actually going to see some people finally charged?

**Congressman Andy Biggs: **I hope so. I think you will.

So if I can, I'm going to split it up just a little bit.

**Chuck Warren: **Yeah, please.

**Congressman Andy Biggs: **Trying not to be vague, but just a little bit. On the Hillary side of it, it's pretty darn clear that Hillary and a couple of people on her team came up with this plan to do the Russia hoax.

And it's also pretty clear that people like Brennan Clapper Comey knew about it. And they knew that the purpose was pretty clear. I mean, you've got emails now that are saying, this is what happened. Hillary Clinton and team are going to claim the Russian collusion with Donald Trump

over here to distract from her own criminal culpability for having classified information on her personal server, which is clearly violative of the law. So I think – I don't think that that is outside the statute of limitations yet. Now you've got – then you move over to the connection.

You've got Brennan and Clapper and Comey and yums like Peter Strzok and Andy McCabe and Lisa Page. Somebody's got to go to jail. Somebody has got to go to jail. The most likely person out of all of that – Should be either Brennan or Clapper.

**Chuck Warren: **That would make me so happy.

**Congressman Andy Biggs: **Should be Brennan or Clapper. I don't think you'll ever see them do something with President Obama because then you have a civil war. You might see something with Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton, they are the artful Dodgers, right?

**Chuck Warren: **Correct.

Congressman Andy Biggs: They’ve managed to avoid punishment for any misconduct and I mean I'm I shouldn't say misconduct criminal

**Sam Stone: **For decades of criminal conduct

**Congressman Andy Biggs: **Exactly yeah

**Sam Stone: **I mean to me Chuck I know you agree okay one of them going to jail has to happen because the message has to be sent that this can never happen again there has to be fear instilled to prevent this from returning.

**Chuck Warren: **Well, move on.

I mean, they just need to be in court. People need to see them with the jury. That's for the jury to decide. But they have been, you know, they have what they have done to this country, splitting it as they did, is to me, it's just it's unforgivable.

**Congressman Andy Biggs: **Okay, so there's really three reasons that you prosecute somebody.

There's four, but I'll leave out one. But you have specific deterrence, general deterrence, and then you have to have a sense that the community respects the law. The community has to be made whole. And that's what has to happen here because when you think about it, what – What happened because of the Russia hoax?

Well, you had two impeachments. You had constant investigations of Donald Trump. You saw rioting in the streets resulting from that. You had media madness fueling that. There's got to be some collusion somewhere with somebody in the media who is working for that stuff. But if you don't do any of this stuff, then you won't have specific deterrence.

You're not going to have general deterrence, and you are never going to make this country come back together as a whole.

**Sam Stone: **And it made Donald Trump – it reduced Donald Trump's position for four years in dealing with Russia.

**Congressman Andy Biggs: **Totally. And I will say this. Fortunately, there's nobody stronger willed or minded than Donald Trump.
